We've all had at least a day (our European friends are a bit behind us, but I have no doubt they have also managed to form their opinions) to play with patch 2.1.0 and digest the many changes contained therein. While the Children's Week quests (and the non-combat pets you get from them) are super fun, but what I'm enjoying most is the lack of gold selling spam. At least for me, this near-constant nuisance has completely vanished since the patch came out -- though perhaps I'll have a different opinion tomorrow. So, I ask, what's your favorite aspect of patch 2.1.0?

"Your current target will now display all of the duration based spells that you have cast on them..."
I can now see exactly when my rogue's gouge or druid's pounce or bash will end. And that rocks.
I received and reported one gold spam whisper yesterday, and haven't had the fun of receiving or reporting any more. So I guess I like that as well.

I enjoy the fact that I have 4 hours free each night since I can no longer raid with my elemental shaman. The combination of only lasting through the first third of the fight and not having decent healing gear means I won't have to worry about losing sleep staying up for that last kill. Thanks blizz for giving me my life back.

I have to love the return of alchemy discoveries, because yesterday, while using up the stacks and stacks of herbs accumulated over the discovery-free weeks, I discovered the Flask of Arcane Fortification. Sweet.

Lack of gold selling spam? What game are you playing? Its gotten WORSE since they announced they'd kill off the ability for mods to send the mails, and has stayed worse since Tuesday. I can't go 10 mins without getting them now. Time to get the new SpamSentry I guess.

I've had just as much gold-selling spam as before. And I'm sure I remember reading in the patch notes that skinning/mining/herbalism at 375 would no longer result in 'failed attempt', but I got loads yesterday. I still made a cool 100g from skinning everything I came across in Ogri'la, so it's not too bad.
Favourite change? Rogue buffs. Since the patch, I respecced to full combat (don't need imp sap anymore). That plus buffs to my epic sword (Vindicator's Brand), way fewer glancing blows, and finally being able to buy the PvP epics I've been saving up for means I'm a mad DPS machine. Tanks are having trouble keeping up, though. Here's to major rogue nerfs in next patch *sigh*... Queued for WSG for ages too, and couldn't get in because of the BG matching system (I presume).
Oh, and the little things that bugged me. Not being able to use Wanted posters while mounted; not being able to move downward while flying; Shadow Lab took too long; poisons too too many reagents to make... it's all good :)

1. Separate bar for when in moonkin form.
2. Fewer NPCs fighting at FP in Shatt for less noise less graphical lag.
3. All the gold from new quests
4. I can now skin some instance beasts that I couldn't before
5. More leather from skinning
6. Epic flying form (haven't gotten there yet but even the quest line sounds fun)

LOL! I get just as much spam as I used to. I admit, Tuesday was about 50% of the spam, but it's back to normal as of Wednesday...

I love my new "mend pet" IC HoT for less mana healing for more (but longer to get the full heal)

My favorite is being able to dee the duration based spells tick down right under the targeted mob. My least favorite is having my pet appear automatically after I fly to a new location. There are pets/minions everywhere! I preferred having my minion dismissed and getting the soul shard back for using when I leave the town I'm in. Now the big oaf follows me everywhere, crowds things up in AH and the like and I lose the shard if I dismiss him myself. Stupid change...

My favorite things in patches are always little changes. The big changes are nice and my rogue got alot of love this patch but its the things that make me go "Hey, cool" that I love the most. For this patch, that is undoubtedly this macro:
/dismount [noflying]
/stopmacro [mounted]
/use [flyable] Swift Blue Gryphon; Black War Steed Bridle

As a hunter my three favorite things are fast skinning, addition of Cobra Reflexes which I hear increases pet DPS by 12% (!), and the fact that when you come off a mount or off a griffin your pet auto repawns!
That more than makes up for the flare nerf.

Since the (Improved) Mend Pet changes were mentioned, I will go with the other big one for my Hunter: ranged attacks on the target increasing RAP given by Hunter's Mark. These changes were well worth the flimsiness of my server.

Three words: Frozen Shadoweave Robe.
They should have named it the Frozen Pimpweave Robe.
Actually, I'm most excited about the ability to get my Netherdrake and put even more distance between myself and the commonfolk :-P (even if the quests are a bit of a timesink).
