I had to check my calendar to make sure this wasn't still April 1st: Blizzard is announcing that you can now get a WoW credit card! It's a Visa that gives you 1% of all your purchases as free game time, as well as a free month with your first purchase. The 1% rewards rate means spending $1,500 with the card nets you a free month of play. There are some other credit cards that give you 1% cash back (or more) on all purchases, though, so this card's strongest point seems to be its attractive designs. Then again, that may not be such a good feature if you don't want to out yourself as a WoW player every time you open your wallet. With no annual fee, I might well pick one of these up myself, if only to use once for the free month. What about you guys?

yeah, I'm gonna get one of these for the free month...I wouldn't mind the free game time either honestly...even if it's just a few days here and there...but I have a wedding coming up so i could get about 3-4 months out of this...

Why would you be ashamed to "out" yourself as a WoW player? Are people that insecure?

As far as the numeric characters in account names thing, Blizz knows about it & are working to fix it.

Seriously though, how many people actually have an account name that is completely devoid of a numeric character. I'm not one to flame blizz 99% of the time but don't you think someone would have caught this?

This was inevitable.
Still waiting for the breakfast cereal! Arthas Crunch? Barrens Breakfast Critters?
Or maybe chewing down a nice bowl of Gnomes in the morning, what better way to start the day than crunching Gnomes?
They could never make more than one type though. If they did, people would flood the WoW forums, whining for one cereal to be nerfed of buffed, one is clearly overpowered, and there would be the constant drone of people asking for new serv.. I mean new cereals all the time. Peoplee would post how they are going to quit eating WoW cereal if Blizzard doesn't fix the crunchiness, or the sogginess, or both in the same thread. There would be posts about how a new cereal from some other company is going to kill WoW cereal any minute now. It would be horrible!

Actually I want them to introduce a Credit Card system in Game
So when i'm browsing the AH and simply must have that rare jewlcrafting desing I can click "Buy on Credit"
Of course this would back fire when I have a large CC bill that I'm having to farm forever to pay off ;(

I really don't understand who would get this for more than the instant 1mo free.
If you're a serious player, you're getting more than one month at a time for less money. 3 months at a time will save you $1 per month, and 6 months at a time will save you $2 each.
So you're much better off getting a 1% cash-back card, because at least those typically give >1% for something some of the time, and when you inevitably give up on the game, you'll still have a use for it.
All those things said, the artwork on the cards is sweet. If only it was a better deal financially.

I'd like to get one just for the artwork. I'm not sure which one to pick though, I'm kind of leaning towards the Draenei one.

As with all of these deals, you only get the rewards when you are carrying a balance i.e. paying them interest (usually at worse rates than the mob). In other words, you aren't saving any money.
