Tier 6 in motion
By now, you've probably seen the Tier 6 shots (if not, you've got to read Elizabeth's great critiques of them all), but here they are in all of their full-motion glory. Yes, even the Warlock (lol) set. Don't watch this if you're not into spoilers, especially because there's a little surprise at the end...
Was it just me, or did the Paladin set just look like weird flat spikes before? Here, you can see it's actually glowy. And it's awesome to see the eyes on the Hunter set blink, although I think that if I ever did get my Hunter to the point where he could wear and obtain those shoulders, all that blinking would annoy me after a while. The Mage's head just looks all pointy. But oh yes, that Shaman set does look awesome. You hear that, guild? We've got to get to the Black Temple... it will be mine.

The shoulders are a bit much on some of these. That shaman looks like he's wearing a dining room table.

I'm not QQing with this statement:
The president, CFO, CTO and lead developers for Blizz have to be playing warlocks. It's a simple idea that explains things.
Their t6 is supermegafukinuberawesome. The others cool, but not like that.

I gotta agree with #3. To give them that huge animation and no one else...

I've always liked that orcs and taurens have extra-large shoulders, but this is just getting ridiculous. They really do need to scale down those shoulders a bit. I'm sure it'll all look fine on the other races.

Locks got pretty awesome looking demonic portal armor with tier 5, too.
Mages got a red robe, and now they look like lawn spikes.

I actually liked the Pally gear the best. The lock animation is cool, but I see that becoming very VERY annoying within a short period of time...especially in a raid. The Druid and Rogue looked nice too.

Fact: there's no such thing as armor that looks good on any of the alliance races.

Warlock sets always rock.
Was a bit disappointed with T4, due to it's lack of pwnage compared to other sets. But then T5 came along it it went back to looking 10 times better then other sets, and T6 follows up with this trend.
Ah, it's good to be the Blizzard "cool" class.

I have come to the conclusions that the tier gear designers all wish they could have been football stars and that is why the give the teir gear such huuuge shoulderpads.

@3: They only put that uber animation on the helm so people will actually wear it... that is the ugliest headpiece i've seen since the felheart set.

to people who QQ over that lock animation, gimme a break, just about every other set has constant animations, warlock is only when you equip the helm, and trust me those horns more than make up for it.
On a second note, all sets look amazing, except in my opionion the mage and druid set.

@9 lol its my opinion that all the horde races look like S**t in armor, except for blood elves, taurens look big and ugly. Orcs look fat and they can ruin any piece of armor almost like gnomes cane, the undeads armor is all ripped and hard to see, trolls would look good if the walked upright instead of stooped over, on the alliance side gnomes look pretty bad with their giant heads and shortness, draenei look awesome in plate but pretty bad in cloth.
Maybe its because i am really a human, but i think humans and blood elves look the best in armor.

I don't get why people think the Mage set looks bad. I like it.
I think Mage sets reached an all time high with tier 4 and 5. T4 has a regal, powerful look to it, and T5 has a subtle, "I'ma pwn your face" look to it. My favorite part about the T5 is the shoulders. The subtle red glow shows that whoever is wearing them isn't just a dude in a robe and a hood.

No doubt that the Druid set looks the best.
