We all probably know SCT, or Scrolling Combat Text, the mod that puts incoming damage, buffs, etc. above your character's head, or down the side, or whatever. It's the AddOn that Blizzard But what if you wanted to display your own damage, the damage you dish out, above your head? SCT - Damage (or SCTd) is the ticket there. It requires SCT, and can show all the damage you do, including names of special skills, resist information, coloration by spell school, DOT ticks, and so forth, right in the middle of the screen over your character's head where you can see it. It's very nice for ranged damage, since your target may be inconveniently located for the built-in damage display.
It's a good mod, and I love it. I only wish it would show heals I do as well as damage I do -- I know SCT can show my heals, but it would work better for my setup if SCTd could do it too. New in the latest version of SCTd, by the way, is an oft-requested feature: the ability to show damage above your targets' name plates. It's still in beta, so to speak -- it's buggy and has some limitations -- but if you want it, there it is.

SCT/SCTd is pretty nice, but I recommend Mik's Scrolling Battle Text instead. It has everything you like from SCT/SCTd, but is even more configurable.
You can find it on WoWInterface: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5153-MikScrollingBattleText.html
It also has a few additional AddOns that you might like (in particular, MSBTLoot).

I've been suing these for months and love it. I use it in conjunction with my HUD so that the damage I take goes off just to the left of my HP bar, and the damage my enemies take goes off to the right of theirs. Heals and rage (I'm a Warrior) drop off the bottom center. It's great, and doesn't spam the screen like it does if you don't separate the damage you take, and what you dish.

What addon is used to get the player's HP and combo/rage/mana, and also the enemy's HP bars on the screen like in the image?

I second the use of MSBT. It's pretty nice and extremely configurable. You can change position, text size, scroll distance, scroll arc, font, color, crits, special events...
Make you sure you watch the video in the link Xur gave. Good tutorial or for showing you its features.

yeah, i'd recommend MSBT as well. if you use metahud (the screencap seems to indicate this), imo MSBT is just hard to beat. it works wonderfully well with that mod.
i switched to it from SCT and never looked back.

SCT type mods are pretty much worthless if you ask me. I use the Blizzard UI SCT, and it works perfectly well. Shows damage I deal, healing I put up, heals I take. It'll tell you who cast the heal if you're taking healing. IIRC, it can monitor your buffs and tell you when they're up, down, and I *think* it'll tell you when your CDs are ready for use again.

#3: For the HUD (Heads-Up Display) bars with health/mana/rage/combo, etc... I recommend MetaHUD:
http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/files/details/3784/metahud/ I personally think that ArcHUD is prettier, but MetaHUD is more configurable and useful.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE FIRST POST -- MIKORDOMIS' SCROLLING COMBAT TEXT is 100% BETTER.
It just so happens that Mikordomis is my guild too, actually -- of Zangarmarsh. Best mage on the server.
Anyway, he's a FREAK about FPS and designed MSCT to impact the performance of WoW as little as possible. Also, the same effect damage combining feature is a *must have.* MSCT is soooo much better than FCT or SCT(d)!!!!!!

i personally find the built in combat text in WoW to be nigh useless. it can't be moved anywhere and scrolls at a pace you can't reduce, which further hinders its usefulness.

I haven't tried Mike's.. but I must warn you if you are a mage.
sctd is not mage friendly. While farming I rounded up a group of mobs and began to aoe them. Between frost nova and coc, my screen was all yellow with text from the damage. My system is not that bad, but it lagged horribly. After a while of this, I logged off and turned the mod off.
Wasn't so bad on my rog or shammy. But its not for mages or any class that can aoe. imo..
