Datto asks an awesome question: which banker do you use? Do you have a loyalty to a specific banker, or do you just always hit up the closest one? Whenever I think of banking, I think of Orgrimmar, and walking a few steps in and to the left to see my man Karus (at least I think it's Karus-- is it wrong of me to never get to know the teller all the times I've visited him?).It's not that I won't bank elsewhere-- when in Undercity, I often visit the Montagues, and if I happen to be in TB, I'll go to them (although, truth be told, I can't ever really remember visiting the bank in TB). On Alliance side, I don't have a specific banker that I go to, but I do like the Stormwind Bank-- it seems so much cleaner than Ironforge's bank. IF seems like a dirty pawn shop to me. Plus, Stormwind's bankers are named "Olivia," "Newton," and "John," so there's that.
The same could be asked about auctioneers, and again, on Horde I do about 80% of my AH shopping in Orgrimmar, all with the guy on the left (and I have no idea at all what his name is). There is something to be said, as a few players note, for simply going to the auctioneer that's the least busy-- it's nicer not to have to fight the lines to get a click in. And on Alliance side, there is none other: all of my auctioneer business goes through the lovely Redmuse in Ironforge. She's been running my auctions for me ever since the beginning, and I've seen no reason to change. Every once in a while, IF will run laggy, and I'll be a little irked that she's taking so long to get my auction up, but one look in those eyes and that red hair, and everything's OK again.

My favorite Bank is the one in Ratchet because as an Ally I always feel "special" using it.
My favorite auctioneers are the ones least used; Darnassus and Exodar. It's like you're in a ghost town when you shop there!

Personally, I like the Stormwind AH and Bank. Usually go there but if I am in another area where I can access either, then I will. Though usually dont use the AH unless looking for something or throwing stuff up on it before logging...

I have to visit him because if he's giving you more information than you ever needed to know about HIMSELF, how can he NOT give you all the information relevant to the Auction House?!?

I mine to make money and I'm also a cow, so TB is my home. Bank, forge, and AH are all within 10 steps of each other. Stampi is my main man for all my AH needs.
If i have to do business elsewhere, Yarly is my go-to guy in the UC (ORLY?!), and if I'm ever in Thrall's neighborhood, I've gotta check in with my buddy Wabang.
Can you tell I'm an AH whore? :-\

I think I've used AH in IF and Booty Bay one or two times, but other than those times, it has always been me and Auctioneer Jaxon in SW. (L)

At the IF bank I just take the guy in the middle, but when I go to the AH I always take the guy on the right somehow...
In SW I usually take the right banker and the left auctioneer, but that's just because she's closer to the door.
In Darnassus... I dunno, I don't do very much banking/AH'ing in Darnassus, maybe because I'm not there very much.

Uhm....my wife and I are totally biased as Auctioneer Jaxon was named for her and Officer Jaxon (the thief catcher) was named for me. Having a friend on the Dev team does pay off sometimes!

I always prefer the bankers in IF over SW, because they immediately open up your bank inventory screen, whereas in SW, you click on the banker and an intermediate pop-up asks you if you want to check your bank account. Well, duh, why else am I standing in front of your teller window? At the IF AH, I always pick the auctioneer to the left, although I'm not sure why.

Have you noticed that in SW, the bankers ask you if you want to check your bank but in IF, it opens your bank immediately? Very strange.
