I heard these were out a few days ago, but the link I got was to the official forums, and the thread had been deleted by the time I got there. Well, MMO-Champion has them now. Delete that, Blizz! Now keep in mind, as MMO-Champion warns us, these aren't "official" bonuses, but were rather extracted from the currently game files somehow, and will most likely change when 2.1.0 goes live (which according to Tseric will be "soon"). Still, this should be something to get your mind going. The bonuses mostly follow the same pattern: 2-piece bonuses makes a skill cheaper (or sometimes return more mana), and 4-piece bonuses makes a skill stronger. Since the 4-piece bonuses mostly affect our "bread and butter" skills (e.g. Greater Heal for healing priests, Fireball, Frostbolt, and Arcane Missiles for mages) and mostly by about 5%, they seem pretty cool. The 2-pieces vary in how much they impress me. Tier 6, if I'm not very much mistaken, drops in

First off most end level raiding warlocks are spec 0/21/40 and use one dot Immolate. Frozen shadoweave is not viable for BT/Hyjal due to its low amount of stats i.e. low stam = bad for the amount of damage you take during many fights. The health recieved per tick is 34 health.
Second Tier 6 drops in Hyjal and BT and tier 5 drops in SSC/TK.

Oh my god....that warlock bonus better be low...that's insane! Now every dot a lock gets they get health for too? Christ why don't we just hand them WoW on a silver platter now?
How come warlocks always get such overpowered gear and hunter's get...like...shafted..along with the other classes.

@2 you do know that they can already get frozen shadow weave right? plus, this is tier 6 gear its supposed to be godly. although I am disappointed in my tier 6 mage gear, +2secs to evo and +5% dmg? that sucks in comparison to the lock heal.

The warlock bonus probably isn't much different from the current Frozen Shadoweave bonus.

Wow, that elemental bonus looks really cool. It's too bad that nobody will ever take an elemental shaman to BT.
Some of those bonuses are pretty boring though. 5% more damage from LB is nice, but what happened to cool bonuses, like the "Totemic Power" buff on Tier 3?
Can't wait to see what they look like too.

"4 pieces:Increases the amount healed by your Lesser Healing Wave ability by 5%." = WTF?

You're kidding right? A 10% increase in damage of a hunter ability is garbage?
Besides, I can't imagine the health gain for locks will be very much, probably less than 50hp per tick, which at lvl 70 with tier 6 gear, will be almost nothing.
And again, as mentioned before, these are not official, as 2.1 has not yet been released.

95%* of players won't see the Black Temple until the next expansion comes out and we're all level 80, which case we'll 10-man it with quest blues. Therefore, tier 6 is utterly irrelevant.
*fabricated statistic

Sometimes I think they're releasing too much too fast...not so much the content, but rather Tier Sets. I mean seriously, how long in between tier 1, 2, and 3? I know I've read it on this site somewhere. Come May we'll be up to Tier 12 and most of us won't even have seen tier 4.
And three Tier sets w/ only 5 pieces? Are the Devs running out of ideas of what to put for bonuses at 5, 6,or 8 pieces complete? I know I'll never see all this stuff, but come on...PUGs became standard for MC and Ony so I finally got a glimpse of the glory at having my tier 2 helmet and scattered tier 1 pieces. Maybe two expansions from now I'll be able to see all this content, and put on tier 4,5, and 6 pieces, but by then Outland will become a graveyard of memories and good times, never to be touched again, just like much of Azeroth is now. IMO

I have played WoW as an alliance warlock since the beginning back in November 2004. I did not even get to do Scholo, MC, UBRS until about February 2006. I did not even join a guild (Destined Souls on Icecrown server) until May 2006, at which point we raided like 5 nights a week. We raided all the way up until November 2006 just before the Thanksgiving holidays, at which point people started to disappear for all kinds of real life and in-game reasons (school, family holidays, pre-expansion jitters, battleground changes, etc), so the raiding kinda just stopped all of a sudden. Most guilds had the same issues. We were pretty much getting all the way through MC and were ready to move on to BWL, but only hit it a few times with the help of another guild just before X-mas and never really got past the first few bosses. Through all of this MC activity from May to November, I had been able to get 7 out of 8 of the Felheart set, only one I was missing was the Felheart Robes. We killed Golemagg countless times, prolly about 50, no joke, and they NEVER dropped. But I was hardly hindered by this because I was always rockin the PVP and raids and PVE so I got over it. Then the expansion came out and of course that changed everything.
Now everyone is in Outland and pretty much left the old instances behind as they are grinding to lvl 70 and trying to get the new tier sets. Because of this, I will prolly never see my Tier 2 Nemesis set from BWL, and even less of a chance to ever see Tier 3. Currently everyone is working toward just getting attuned to hit the Tier 4 instances. By the end of this year 2007, people will still be trying to start and/or complete their Tier 5 sets. Forget about Tier 6 until 2008. So I am figuring that no one will be trying to go back to grab the Tier 2 and Tier 3 sets until well after a year from now. Also, new content will still be coming out over the next year, new instances, new gear, new weapons. At which point they will announce another expansion. So there is pretty much no chance to get groups to want to go back and hit older never seen stuff like Naxx, much less hit BWL which many already did before, which kinda makes me a little sad to be honest. I was hoping to collect each tier set because they all have different bonuses and could be used for different situations, not to mention the fun of exploring BWL and NAXX with the guild.
Having said this, I think that people feel the new tier sets are kinda lacking because they were expecting much more in the way of stats and increases to abilities than what we now have come to see in Tier 4/5/6. But this only proves that they really aren’t supposed to be better than one another, just different from one another. Some are better for base stats, some are better for PVP, some are better for certain instances, etc…so you can really still get a lot out of the tier sets no matter what. Also, since the new 4/5/6 sets are all 5 set pieces, that means you still have 3 more pieces of whatever you want to add MORE stats. So from that point of view the 4/5/6 sets are really cool and do out-perform the 1/2/3 sets from a base stats perspective at least.
One other thing to think about is that most people have their banks full of stuff and already carry partial or full fire resist or other resist gear for certain instances, so you can’t really hang on to that many sets of “tier” gear unless you just forget about doing any professions. You will have to move on at some point to progress in the game, so you will have to work towards at least one of the 4/5/6 sets, maybe keep one or part of the 1/2/3 sets (for your extra 3 - bracers, pants, waist) to complement your 4/5/6 sets. So from that standpoint, you really might want to go back and get Tier 1/2/3 set pieces and I think will happen eventually for most people, although not for a year or more. But by then, with all the lvl 70’s in the guild, going back to BWL and NAXX will seem much easier, and therefore more accessible too.
All in all, I feel that many, many people missed out on a lot of content (NAXX), but even so they CAN go back at some point and check it out. The experience will still be there for the taking should they join a good guild and put in the time and effort. Most of all, the game is really fun, regardless of what tier sets you have. Of course, then we will be upon the next expansion and crying about not ever seeing The Black Temple because we are adventuring through another portal. Sigh….
