I love finding new addons. Let me tell you how I found CyCircled, my favorite new change to my UI. I was looking through some of the excellent submissions we're receiving for Reader UI of the Week (shameless plug), and was inspired to go looking for an update to my own UI. Somewhere along the way, I came across the All Deuce UI.
Impressed, but slightly overwhelmed by ADUI, I was about to go back to my old setup. There was, however, one feature of ADUI that I really adored from the get-go. ROUND BUTTONS!
I wanted, no I *NEEDED* round buttons. I like consistency in my UI. If I'm going to have a round minimap, and round minimap buttons, then I've got to have round action bar buttons, right?
Not knowing much, I first assumed that the round buttons were just part of Bartender, the action bar replacement in ADUI. I installed Bartender, but was saddened to see the same-old square buttons I've enjoyed with Bongos. I began digging through the list of mods to find out which AddOn was my magic circular button creator, until I saw "CyCircled".
Not remembering that I'd reset my UI and had Bongos back, I added the CyCircled folder to my WoW AddOns folder. I was more than pleasantly surprised to login to my regular UI, except now with ROUNDED BUTTONS!
CyCircled will apply a variety of textures and styles to your buttons: Sprockets, Hex, Squares, Circles, and your choice of glossy or non-glossy. You can also set the surround colors for the button in different states.
Yes, CyCircles is a purely cosmetic AddOn. Sometimes your UI just has to look sexy for when the friends come by, you know?
Anyway, it's actually kind of tough to find info about CyCircled. It's a WoWAce 2 addon, so all the dependencies are built-in. It supports Bartender and Bongos, and likely supports other bar mods (please sound off below if you get it to work with your preferred bar replacement.)
To use CyCircled, type /cycircled or click on the minimap button for the mod, it's dead simple.

I use CT_Barmod and suchwhich, so I'll be giving this a shot to see if it works/how I like it.
Hopefully- I hate it. That's just a hope though. I get the feeling I'll grow an addiction to the rounded feel.

The Insomniax compilation, now known as the Ledmirage compilation has this feature too. It also has other shapes for you buttons aside from the circle and default.
The latest Mirage UI version is 2.0.10
(Previously named Insomniax Recompilation)
You can download the Mirage UI compilation here: http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=3577
I really love that addon compilation :)

Horray another fan of Led Mirage's work!
The bar mod that you'd look towards is called Trinity Bars http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info6391-TrinityBars.html

The Mirage compilation does it because he uses Trinity Bars for his barmod. Trinity Bars is also available as a standalone and does the round buttons natively, as an option.
If only Trinity supported Theorycraft2, It's be perfect. In the meantime, I'll wait patiently.
And thumbs-up for the Mirage compilation. Led (the compiler) does a very nice job making everything play well together.

This is compatible with bongos too! I had almost the exact same experience with the all deuces ui and then lifting out my favorite features.

I like the consistency in your UI. Especially the pet bar.

Ro: that's not my UI, that's just a screenshot of CyCircled. It's not applied to the petbar in that case. With Bongos (my weapon of choice), you can apply CyCircled to any bar, including the pet bar. Different action bar replacements yield different results.

I loved Discord Action Bars until they stopped development on it (I don't know if they gave another mod priority or what), but I'm current using CT_Bars/Bottom Bar...
Does anybody know if there's a mod that will allow you to create virtual buttons anywhere in your UI? Discord and CT want me to use an entire predefined bar, and at times, I just want a button or two for pots, or spells, etc...

I wish I could afford to use purely cosmetic addons, but my computer is a critter (see opposite of "my computer is a beast".)

It looks good, on everyone's pontification of it. But I can't get it to work. I just think that its a waste of time. I'll stick with what Bizzard gives me. And there is no Readme.txt or Manual as far as I can see in the zip file.

I have a question on this addon. I installed it, but wasn't able to get it to work exactly like I want. The problem is that when it applies the skins it applies them to all my action bars. I want to be able to make my totems circles but leave the rest as squares, to differentiate them. The addon has an "all" and main modifier, but nothing really to apply to specific bars. Or at least nothing I've been able to figure out. Any help here would be appreciated.
