The loot is still so phat in Outland, we still don't know which one to pick (although don't worry, lowbies, we'll do an Azeroth item next week for ya). Fortunately, reader Adam sends in his favorite new Outland item, something that embodies all the great stuff the expansion has to offer: great looking items, fun quests to get them from, and items that are perfect for those offspec folks.
Name: Staff of Beasts
Type: Rare Staff
Damage / Speed: 144-252, 3.30 (60.2 DPS)
Abilities:
- +31 Strength, +30 Agility, +45 Stamina
- Here's Adam's favorite part: On Equip, it grants you 298 Attack power in Cat, Bear, Dire Bear and Moonkin forms. That's a terrific item for feral druids, either for soloing or playing non-healer roles in groups.
- Plus, just look at it, man. That's a B.A. staff! I pity the fool!
Getting Rid of It: Sells to vendors for 9g 96s 92c (gotta save up for that mount!). No one has been dumb enough to get one of these quest rewards and disenchant it, so couldn't tell you what it D/Es into yet. What are you still doing here reading? Go get it!

I got the amazing Battle Mage staff the other day completing the quest line. The actually fights were easy, the annoying parts are: 1) Finding people to help, especially if you've levelled faster/slower than guild mates, 2) The quests can be downright buggy.
If you die and release, you fail (making druids a poor choice if more than one person ends up dying). Some of the elites require you literally to be *right next to them* when they die. We had to do the void walker one 3 times because even everyone huddled around it, it wouldn't complete for some.
Oh and do this as fast as possible, if you wait until prime time a queue forms. Whilst another group kills the elites you cannot start/complete any quests from the goblin. Often meaning to get a go you need to spam click and accept or risk standing there 10 minutes.

As nr 1 i chose the Mage staff instead (which is just as great as the rest of the items) but i must say the Ring of blood quests are the most enjoyeble quests in Outland so far, with the goblin trambolion quest comming in on a close second!!

I picked this one up last name (Horde, EU Emerald Dream Server). Fortunately there was a group of horde taking the tests and helping each other out when I got there. Took about 5 mins to finish the whole thing. No bugs as far as I could tell.
Also worth noting that people not in the group can assist with healing/dps too.
