Curse Gaming is reporting that Slops of Disposable Heroes on Aggramar-A has hit 60 with an Alliance Shaman. Slops did it with an amazing time of 3 days and 9 hours, which is doubly amazing, because as far as I know, the fastest time to 60 for any class I know of was just over 4 days (that was a few patches ago, though, and Shaman do rock). If someone hasn't already hit 60 (or even 70) with a Blood Elf Paladin yet, we'll probably see it here in a few days. In fact, if you know of one, drop us a note in the comments or over at "Contact Us" in the sidebar.
Meanwhile, congrats to Slops for being one of the first Shaman to benefit from the crack cocaine that is a Pally's Judgement of Wisdom-- I won't lie, we spend mana like it's going out of style, and we can't wait to get a refill. Sure, I might not like them much, but I can't wait to share spells with the enemy in raids.
Update: Well that didn't take long-- commenter Stephen says Yoshie of Relentless on Maelstrom EU hit 60 on Tuesday afternoon. Technically we don't know when Slops hit, but there's also been reports of a 60 Blood Elf Paladin sighting as well. There's no question Slops' time was fast, but unless Blizzard wants to let us know for sure, we might never know exactly who the first endgame Alliance Shaman was.

On the official forums there was a BE Paladin that hit 60 and had his epic mount. I don't remember their name but the time played was like 4 and a half days or something. I saw this thread a couple of days ago so it should be around.

On Smolderthorn, we have two guys from the guild Nightmares Asylum racing on their Belf paladins to 70. They both hit 60 on either monday or Tuesday and are currently floating around 64. I don't know exactly as they are likely currently playing as they obviously don't have lives, real jobs, or significant others to worry about.
There's also at least 1 Draenei shaman above 60 as well.

I'd like to know what the fastest time is for a player that doesn't have people in a guild help him along or tag team playing with another person. Doesn't matter how FAST you do it if you have others pull you through the content it shouldn't really count cause you really aren't doing all the work yourself. Just like that guy who hit 70 in 28 hours. Sure its quick, but its not legit if others help you.

A friend of mine told me that his server has a 70 BE Pally that an entire guild worked together to level in just a few days. I believe he's on Kul'Tiras.

C'mon people... stop thinking so yesterday... when the game was pre-BC, no one said, so-and-so was the firt to hit 50! Yay! Start thinking in the present. 1-60 isn't the goal anymore, it's now 1-70. Who cares how long it took to get to 60... you still have 10 levels to go. You are not done yet, brother. Keep trucking.

Re #8
It doesn't count if you work together? That's the most ludicrous thing I've heard. This is a **Massively Multiplayer** game. The whole point is to form alliances and communities that work together to accomplish the various goals in the game. A lot of the content is just plain impossible to solo. If you are impressed with solo accomplishments (and there's nothing wrong with that), hop on a forum discussing console games.
The fact that people are leveling quickly with the help of others is a testament to the whole point of WoW.

I get thoroughly pissed when i see BE or Draenai that are higher level then me. I have been playing 2 months (yes, I am more casual than hardcore) but I my char has almost dinged 38... I find to get my quests done I am grouping with a lot of Draenai's, which is kinda weird to me. Makes me sad that in 9 days there are chars out there that are already higher lvl than me, and I have been playing for 2 months.

Wyahld and myself (Kraezei) have just hit lvl 40 with our Shammies. Since my character is on a second account, he auto-follows Wyahld while one of my mains does the hard work. We've only done this on elites that we couldn't find groups for, and instance runs so far. We're right on 2 days played at 40, and we're not using the "tag and let the group kill" tactic.

I just don't see how people can race through 60 or 70 levels in less than a week...even IF I had the time to do it (which I surely don't unless I want my gf to break up with me, lose my job, house, and gain 20 lbs of pure fat - hello South Park), I get burnt out too easily and have to go offline for the night/couple days or switch to an alt - even then I'll get burnt and go offline lol.
