I know the topic is supposed to be about classes other than our own but I have to say my favorite class is the demo warlock. I'm destro, but the demo warlock is my favorite for 2 reasons...

1. In BG, if you banish a felguard, the demo warlock tends to try and run away instead of fighting, making him much easier to kill.

2. In groups, that felguard is great at holding aggro as an off tank, no need to bring my most hated class... a hunter.

But to pick a class other than my own, I pick the frost mage. They're great for those "kill X of mob Y" quests with their frost nova and other aoe's.

I have much love for my hunter. But I have to say that I'm a firm believer that the best hunter pet is a feral druid!

My boyfriend thought it was hysterical when we got into a jam and I started screaming at the computer to let me use "Mend Pet" on him.

I started with a NE Druid. Tried all 3 specs and ended with Resto for endgame raiding. My current "main" is a 62 Troll Shaman which I just respec'd from DW enhance to Resto in the past week for BC content.

But my favorite class to play is Hunter... Survival/BM spec. I know, I know...Marks has the best DPS, but I firmly believe that a Survival/BM spec is the most well-rounded spec for a hunter and provides maximum survivability over almost any type of PvE or PvP encounter. It's pretty sweet to be able to solo elite mobs that are higher level than you are, and survive with enough HP left that you're not in dire need of a heal.

My favorite class has to be shadow priests (on the alliance side). Being able to fade into the darkness shadow thing they have and their mounts do it too. Its just really cool.

The class I like facing the most in pvp is rogues, they are super strong and super dangerous. Beating one always makes me smile.

Being a Warlock myself....I LOVE me some shadow priests!!!! They are SO much fun to group with and the occasional heal is nice too!

Favorite class now are Feral Druids. Right now they need a nerf almost as much as locks. Awesome damage mitigation in Bear and super duper crit-your-face-off dps action in cat. Not to mention almost no down-time with healing + innervate.

I sympathize with all of the QQ warriors.

Mage's

Love my main mage. Have leveled every other class to 20 or higher to get a taste...nothing comes close to Mages (except for Priests).

Most of the time I vary spells, from high DPS to low DPS to keep aggro off of me...never hit until 3 Sunders, or, if no warrior, 15-25% of their health is down. Mages that dont are suicidal forgetting they are squishies and easily killed.

I'm gonna have to go with Mage. As a Rogue, I never get healed anyway, so I don't miss Priests/Shamans much, but with a Mage you can really tear through mobs.

As a Pally, you can team with almost any class. The one I love to play with though, is probably a Warlock. You wind up with two tanks, and a range DPS/DOT, and with the right blessings and healing, the Lock will never run out of mana and the Pally doesn't need to use up all of theirs. Also, place a Soulstone on a Pally and you are a self-rezzing team. AND, with a Soulstone up and in a dire situation, you can use Divine Intervention on the Warlock and then use the Soulstone to rez yourself...Nobody loses any armor repair money.

As a Rogue, I love to team up with another DPS class, preferring hunters (my most hated class). You can both do massive DPS, you have a pet tank, and have one of the fastest leveling combos in the game. If things get hairy, the Rogue can vanish and the Hunter can feign death. Great combo.

In a group, any class that will give me credit for knowing my spec and not insist that we sheep on every.... bloody.... pull. I'm an ice mage; you tank and meele DPS boys take the one on the left, I'll frost bolt the one on the right, if you don't manage to kill the first one before this one gets to me or is dead, I'll frostnova and shoot them some more. Hunter? Lock? You guys *want* to use your pets, not just dots? Hit the one I've frostbolted, open up all the way-- it'll take a while for him to get down here....

For single groups, anyone who knows how to play their class well is good, and warlocks are a delight for, oh, Timbermaw faction and such. Blue, go AOE taunt--- frostnova-- rain of fire + blizzard = Hey, two more villages andw we're honored.

I have a 62 Rogue main, a 60 Pally alt, a 42 Warlock alt and my new, "probably will become my main" 22 Shaman; I have to say the class I like other than my own would have to be the Druid.

When I hear a guildie talking about his 16k armor in bear form, I nearly wet myself. You need a tank? Sure, gotcha covered. You want some heals? No problemo! You want some creepy, animated trees to attack that mob? You betcha!

I always like grouping with Druids because they are very versatile and can (with the right person behind the keyboard) switch gears in a pinch.

I dusted off my rogue as BC came out and I've been loving the upgrade he got; I've only ever played him in PvE raiding though, PvP'ing on a rogue is a foreign thing to me (much like I can't stand healing a raid on my priest, he's a PvP shadow priest to the core).

I am graced with the ability to access three accounts (my significant other's and my best chum's) so I have played, either briefly or at length, every class in the game. I prefer the Alliance side because that is where the guild I run is and more importantly, the Alliance Auction House is far better supported.

I play a Dwarven Female Rogue. \gasp Which might seem like a bad choice but Treasure Finding and Pick Lock just go hand in hand. And she is a rarity among copies and copies.

My favorite classes to play, other than my own, are Hunter and Shaman for their versatility.

As a feral druid, I love my priests - all specs. You can't get that much crazy healing action with that combo. Oh, the many BG games we won together...just too much fun :)

I have to say, as a Warlock - my love is for Shadow Priests. They can heal? huh...never knew - between my lifetap/dark pact/lifedrain/siphon life and their vampiric embrace - I'm at full health/mana through any fight!

And although we were asked to steer clear of ones we play - I have to say I'm loving Pallies. I teamed up with another pally the other night, and having 2 auras, and 2 buffs each made us uber little lvl 18's! :) One tanking, one healing worked real nice too.
