I'd seen the opening cinematic of the Burning Crusade about 20 or 30 times (including in hilarious Gnome form), but after finally installing and repatching the expansion yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised when Illidan's voice spoke to me from beyond the portal, and the intro movie played out in fullscreen, high-resolution glory. By the time "You are not prepared!" showed up again, I was ready for some Warcraft. And just in case you want to see it one more time, Drysc offers the following tip on the forums: Whether or not the movie shows up is controlled by a small file in the WTF folder (in your World of Warcraft install) on your computer called config.wtf. Just open that file up in Wordpad (or your text editor of choice. Change the "SET movie" line in there from "0" to "1", save the file, and you're ready to watch it all again whenever you start up the game.
Of course, if you're as cool as me, and you bought the Collector's Edition, you can also find the cinematic (along with lots of extras) on the included DVD-- in fact, it's the first thing you see when you put it in. But it's good to know that if you need to watch the movie in its computery glory, you can.

But, you could also just click "cinematics" on the log-in screen, could you not? :)

Wicked intro, if only I knew how to get the proper codecs working.
Anyone able to provide some info?
Tried to watch the cinematic out of game, but I only get audio no video.
Otherwise, looks really really good.

@3 paladin is a hero class, not a very exciting one, but none the less a hero class, and yes i agree demon hunter would be nice or some sort of class that does transformations that aren't quite as lovable

On the Mac, at least, you can show the package contents of the World of Warcraft application, and inside the Resources folder is "DivX Gaming.component". This is a standard Quicktime component that supports the variant of Divx Blizzard uses. Just COPY this to /Library/Quicktime/ and you can play the cinematics in Quicktime Player anytime.

Cross your fingers Warforge. I'd love to see Hero Classes in the next expansion, and maybe they've not completely forgotten about them yet. But I'm betting on one more base class thrown into the mix instead. As to not get my hopes up. :)

@5, no it's not. No hero classes have been released yet. Hero classes will be an offshoot of current classes, if they ever impliment them...

Hero classes will be a lot of different things, depending on who you ask.
