Stalwart reader and advisor Wreck sent me scurrying over to World of Raids this morning to see what's going on with the Dungeon 3 Sets.
Dungeon 3 are the rare 5-piece sets you'll be gathering from dungeons until you're ready for Tier 4 and 5 gear at level 70. It seems like the pieces are actual drops, rather than requiring tokens or pieces, so these are the true heirs to your Dungeon 1 and 2 (formerly known as Tier 0, Tier 0.5) sets.
Here are the names of the sets, but click on Read below to head over to World of Raids and see tons of stats, images, and a movie:
- Priest - Hallowed Raiment
- Druid - Moonglade Raiment
- Warlock - Oblivion Raiment
- Mage - Incanter Regalia
- Paladin - Righteous Armor
- Shaman - Tidefury Raiment
- Rogue - Assassination Armor
- Hunter - Beast Lord Armor
- Warrior - Bold Armor
As my good buddy Skew was quick to point out while I'm writing this - none of the sets seem to be class restricted, but the bonuses are class-specific. Are the sets worth wearing even without their bonuses? Keep in mind that these are dropping in level 68-70 dungeons.
So, take a read, come back and let us know what you think of these sets. Will you be ditching your Tier 1/2/3 sets for these new blues, or are the graphics just not doing it for you? *cough*Judgementrules*cough*

The mage set bonuses are terrible and the piece are in fact, not that great. I mean, faster flame strike is worthless and 100 spell dmg for 15 seconds after getting hit with your mana shield up is even more crappy. The only PvE fights (and these are sets supposed to help you raid), where that would even come into play would against mobs that aoe, and even then it would be a severe drain on your mana to keep this up!
Compared to the chance to gain 115 spell damage every spellcast for 15 seconds, and its a no contest.
It would be far more likely that I will be going after the Mana-Etched generic +dmg cloth set.
Just compare the shoulders:
Incanter: 24stam, 17int, 16 Spirit, yellow and red socket (+3spell crit bonus)
20 Spell damage
Mana-Etched:25stam, 17 int, yellow and red socket (+3 resilience bonus)
16 Crit Rating
20 Spell damage

Actually there are more .. Took me a while to put together a little of it but Check out, Wowhead.com for
irondrake faceguard, pauldrons of the crimson flight, crimson forge breastplate, rubium war girdle, bloodsworn warboots, bloodlord legplates etc etc.. Just like Might armor, diff colorscheme some socketed no set bonus. There is also Wrath, Pally light/soulforged look alikes.. and Hunter (found a few) The pally set was complete.. starting with light-touched breastplate and goes on from there to uther's boots etc etc.

yeah, i saw a few people who had assembeled a purple-hued version of the judgement set on beta. it's via drops, questrewards, etc. very, very good healer set, actually.
