The ad also specifies that the idea candidate must have "recently shipped at least one AAA game in a producer role for one of these console platforms: Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, or GameCube.", so apparently they're looking to cast a wide net, whatever their plans might be.
Personally, I'm not much of a console gamer, but I still can't imagine any way WoW could truly ever work on a console, at least without the addition of a mouse & keyboard; there's simply too much typing to do. Perhaps there's a way to accomplish this that I don't know about, but I just can't see one being able to have the true WoW experience in a console setting. Then again, what do I know?

Starcraft ghost more likely, WoW or any other mmo would be kinda lame on a console, unless you plugged a keyboard into it...

I still can't figure out why they scrapped StarCraft Ghost after the years of work they put into it. After playing it on Xbox at Blizzcon it looked like it was on the right track. But then again, I'm not happy they made StarCraft Ghost Console only. If they had made it for PC it probably would have been out a long time ago. I think they should take their failure as a sign and quit console development.

Starcraft Ghost, although at certain times playable at E3, still seems to be on the same development cycle as Duke Nuken Forever.
What I find far more intriguing, and wholly plausable, is the concept of doing a MMO-FPS hybrid themed in the Starcraft Universe. This seems relatively well geared to either a PC or a console.

Not sure why anyone interprets this as relating to World of Warcraft in any way. In case anyone forgot, Blizzard does make games that aren't WoW!

It'd be awesome though... I'd love to play WoW on my PS3... and with the ability to plug a mouse and keyboard up to it right away, and with a web broswer...ah... I wouldn't need my computer. lol.
And PS3 specs would just blow my, and almost any other computer's, out of the water! Graphics all the way up, still lag free..unless it's server issues or connection issues.

I don't think it will be any MMORPG. How you imagine all of shortkeys? Maybe it will be Diablo 3? Or as has been previously mentioned "StarCraft Ghost".

Players can also set up controller shortcuts to customized chat phrases. Finally, EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers offers full keyboard support. The USB ports of the PlayStation 2 system supports standard USB keyboards. You can even send messages to players who are offline."

Just to awaken all those n00bz in the 360 realm. Has any ever heard of Final Fantasy XI? If not check it out. It's an MMORPG on the PS2 and now the 360. The 360 has these things...i think they are called USB ports...if they make usb key boards and mouses (which they do) then WoW for the 360 CAN happen. Whether or not it will happen depends on Blizzard. Must I also leak a rumor out there that A WoW demonstration was being presented at E3 and the machine running the demo was cover but it had the general shape and familiar *whir* noise of the 360...anyways flame away at this post but saying that it CANT happen is just ignorance.
LATAS!!
